Memorial Day Freebies!!

Another Memorial Day is here! There are businesses and restaurants across the country that will be offering freebies to military veterans & I’ve decided to showcase some of them here (in no particular order):

1. Jamba Juice offers a printable coupon for a “Buy One Get One Free” smoothie or juice through Monday.

2. Hooters will offer 10 free wings to all military, active duty, veterans and their spouses with the purchase of any drink on Memorial Day, May 26.

3. Free Wine Tasting – Military personnel and one guest will receive free wine tastings all year long when they sign up for a subscription from the fine folks at Hall Wines. It’s time to drink wine!

4. Hooter’s Freebie – Participating Hooter’s locations will be serving up 10 free wings to active duty, veterans and spouses on Memorial Day. A drink purchase is required.

5. Boston Market Deal – Participating Boston Market locations will be offering 50 percent off any Family Meal purchase on May 26, 2014. Valid online (with coupon code 31354) or in the restaurant with printable coupon.

6. Free Shoney’s Burger – Active duty and veterans will receive a free All-American Burger on Memorial Day. This offer is for dine-in only and military ID is required.

7. Twin Peaks Free Meal Deal – How does a burger sound right about now? All veterans and current military will receive a complimentary meal at all Twin Peaks on Monday, May 26, 2014.

8. Long John Silver’s Meal Deal – All veterans and active military members will receive a Free Combo Meal at participating Long John Silver’s on May 26, 2014. Coupon and military ID required.

9. Free Printable Flag – Download this free, patriotic U.S. Flag complete with the National Anthem.

10. Free Family History Search – If you’d like to know about your family’s military history, you’re in luck. My Heritage is offering a special deal for the Memorial Day weekend.

11. AAA Tow to Go – Just in case you have a big bash over the holiday weekend or celebrate National Wine Day a little too much, the American Automobile Association will once again be offering its free Tow to Go program. The service, in select locations, runs from May 23 – May 26, 2014. Get a ride home and a tow – within a 10-mile radius, at no cost.

12. King’s Dominion – King’s Dominion is offering free park admission to any active, inactive or retired service members May 24-26, 2014.

13. Free Admission to Blue Star Museums – Thousands of museums, exhibits and art centers across the nation will be offering free admission to active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel (and their families) from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 2014.

14. Free Admission to California State Parks – All veterans, active and reserve military will get free admission to participating California State Parks on May 26, 2014. Military ID is required.

15. Waves of Honor – Active duty, activated or drilling reservists or National Guardsman will receive complimentary admission per year to some pretty awesome parks like Sea World, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Water Country USA. Please visit the website for details.

16. Free Cone at Wendy’s – Participating Wendy’s will be servin’ up free Frosty Waffle Cones from 12 – 8:00 p.m. on May 26, 2014. No purchase is necessary – one cone per customer, while supplies last. Please note – this freebie is only available in select locations.

19. A Story Before Bed – A Story Before Bed is giving away FREE recordings to parents in the U.S. military who are spending time away from their kids. They originally committed to giving away 100,000 recordings, but the response was so strong that they upped it to 250,000 free stories…and now that they’ve reached that goal, they’re going to keep going!

20. Tutor.com – Students in military families can get FREE access to Tutor.com and receive help in more than 16 school subjects. Tutors are available online 24/7. Go here for more details.
