As I get older, going to the club becomes less & less appealing. Getting all dressed up, wearing uncomfortable shoes, wasting good gas money and having loud music blasting in ears is not necessarily my idea of a good time. Not only that, if the DJ isn’t that great or if I don’t meet anybody it can be a total waste of my time.
I don’t know about you, but this is what I see when I go to the club –
Men standing around. I don’t know what it is about the wall, but it seems to be man’s best friend at the club. It’s almost like there’s some type of magnet in every man’s back that connects to a secret magnet inside the wall of the club that keeps them joined together. I’m not sure why they bother coming to a place where people dance if they don’t want to do any dancing.
Men aren’t offering to buy ladies drinks like they used to. Back in the day, men used to buy drinks for women all the time. I was never in the club for longer than 10 minutes without being offered a drink. Whether I was standing near the bar or on the dancefloor, I would always have multiple offers for drinks. Now when I go, it’s almost like men forget that the club even has a bar. And I’m not just saying that this because I’m older (and maybe guys just wanna buy the younger girls a drink), I’m saying this because even the younger guys aren’t buying the younger girls drinks. It’s like chivalry has gone out the window in the club. I understand that buying multiple drinks can really add up, but if you want a girl to really dig you, the polite thing to do is at least offer her a beverage before dancing all up on her.
Men are almost always underdressed. I don’t know why men think they don’t need to look good when they go to the club. It seems like guys just wear whatever they’ve worn during the day to the club at night. Absolutely no effort put into their outfit at all. They just look “regular”. They definitely don’t dress to impress, whatsoever. Guys, we want eye candy too! We want to be attracted to our dance partner, so please put some effort (and some cologne) into what you wear at the club.
What are some of things you’ve noticed about the opposite sex when you go to the club?
