If It Matters To You, It Matters To God

God loves you so much that He wants you to come to Him about everything.
If something is bothering you, if you don’t like something someone said to you, if you don’t like the way someone looked at you, if you feel down for no reason and you’re not sure why – instead of running to the phone calling your girlfriend or your mom, run to God.
He’s always there, 24/7 just waiting for you to come to Him with whatever it is you’re dealing with.
That’s just the way He is; He cares about you so much that if it’s something you care about, then He cares about it.
If it matters to you, it matters to God.
Going to God about everything is one of the ways you cast your care on God instead of holding it in feeling as if you have to “deal with it” all by yourself.  (1 Peter 5:7)
In Christ, you don’t have to deal with anything alone…God is the best source of advice and He’ll always lead you down the plain path and clear road.  (Hebrews 13:5)
He’s not the author of confusion so as long as what you hear in your Spirit lines up with God’s Word then that’s one way you know it’s coming from God and not your own mind and not the devil.  (1 Corinthians 14:33)
Consulting God every day about everything is also the way to build a solid relationship with God.
The more you lean on and seek Him, the more things He’ll share with you.
This way, your relationship goes from just, “God, the heavenly deity who sent
His Son, Jesus, to die for my sins,” to also, “God, the loving father, true confident and best friend who always has my back, loves me more than I love myself and always has my best interest at heart.”
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. {Psalm 73:25}
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. {James 4:8a}
