As we continue on life’s journey, we must remember to thank God for small victories, and to praise Him at all times along the way.
No matter what you’re going through, whether it’s a sudden job loss, recent breakup or painful divorce, or if you’re healing from a broken heart as your natural father may not be present in your life, we must remember to praise God through the storm.
Psalm 23:4 reads, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil…
The key with this Scripture is that it denotes going through the valley. You don’t want to just sit and wallow in the valley, you want to get up, and you want to praise your way through.
There is victory on the other side of your praise.
When you praise God in the midst of what you’re going through you are telling Him “I trust You; I believe all things will work together for my good even in this situation, and it ain’t over!”
Don’t give the enemy a single victory in your life.
His aim is to steal, kill, and destroy whether it’s stealing your joy, killing your dream, or destroying the life within you. However, Jesus came so that you may have life, and that more abundantly, which means life as God would have it (John 10:10)
God would have you walking in joy. God would have you walking in peace.
Trust God in the situation – take hold of His hand and allow Him to lead you through. Know that there is victory on the other side of your praise, so life your hands high right now and give Him some!
