You’ve Been Chosen

Before the foundation of the world, God chose you.
Even when you were out in the world, doing your own thing and not even thinking about Him God still chose you. He chose you for His own because you are His.
Once you received Jesus Christ in your life as your personal Lord and Savior you accepted His invitation for a closer relationship with Him. No longer separated from God, but now restored and promised eternal life with Him – you’ve been chosen to live a life always connected with the Father.
God chose you – but have you chosen Him? Sure you accepted Him at the altar that day, but do you continue to accept Him every single day?
Do you choose His will and His ways over your own every time?
Even if you miss it, act hard-headed or do your own thing (we’ve all been there at some point) are you quick to run to God, instead of away from God, knowing He’s always there ready to receive you again with open arms?
God wants to be your everything. God chose you and will always choose you until the end of time – will you continue to choose Him?
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us. Romans 5:8
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.  John 15:16
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosenyou out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  John 15:19
