New Day, New You!

With the new year in full swing, it can get really easy to fall back into your old ways. To help prevent that here are 4 ways to help keep things in perspective for the remainder of 2017:

  1. Do a bit of “Uncomfortable Introspection” – Figure out what you’re afraid of and learn to deal with it so it doesn’t impact your decision making. This may take a bit of doing but for others, it may come with therapy or journaling.
  2. Get comfortable with stillness – Learn to value a “quiet space.” With the boom of technology and numerous wireless devices, it’s become more necessary than ever to unplug for a few minutes a day. One secret is to make your iPhone password extremely complex to prevent yourself from checking your phone so much.
  3. Live your truth – When you know yourself and what you really want, you won’t be living for money or prestige. It may be hard, but it can be freeing.
  4. Help Others – There are other people who might be struggling with everything that has happened so far this year. So, to help take the pressure off yourself; help others. It’ll make you feel better!
