Get Your Joy Back

I have some exciting news!  Your Heavenly Father, the Creator of all things, wants to be intimately acquainted with you!

Philippians 3:10 reads, That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

In this passage of Scripture the phrase, “That I may know him,” denotes getting to know God on a deeply intimate personal level.

Before we can become successfully intimate with another man, we must first learn how to become truly intimate with God.

Phil. 3:10 in The Amplified Bible breaks it down even further:

[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

So take the time to get naked and not ashamed before God and get to know Him intimately…tell Him all your hurts, all your pains, all your fears…lay it all out…

God wants you to lay it all before Him so He can heal you, cleanse you, purge you, and make you whole.

He wants to restore that which the enemy has stolen and He wants to get your joy back.

In order to do that, though, you must bring it all to Him today.

So what are you waiting for?  He’s right there, waiting for you . . . He’s not going anywhere.
