Let Him Mold You

Besides your own unique fingerprint, which no one on this entire
green earth has the same, God also designed you with your very
own personality.
Sometimes, as women of God, we compare ourselves to others or
we try and “fit” different personalities with different groups when
we’re in different settings.

Or, for example, you may be a boisterous, outgoing individual but
if you’re out on a date you turn into this quiet, mouse-like person
because you’re afraid to “get out of character” or show your true
self for fear that the person you’re dating may reject you.

Today I’m led to encourage you to be yourself, at all times, no matter
what.  Be free to be you – uniquely you!

If you’re normally expressive, be expressive, if you’re normally
reserved, be reserved.  This way you know, for a fact, that those
who are your friends, loved ones or even significant other love
and appreciate you for who you are and not someone you’re
pretending to be.

Bind any thoughts from the enemy which may cause you
to think you need to change your personality in order to catch
and keep a man.

Whoever loves you will love you for you, and love everything about
you, including your personality.

Now I’m not speaking of a personality which includes rambunctious
outbursts or outward demonstrations contrary to God’s Word causing
you  not to operate in the fruits of the Spirit.  We’re all a work in
progress in that regard as we, some more than others, have to train
our spirits to submit to God’s will in certain situations on a daily basis.

I’m speaking of the sum total of your essential character and total being.

Also, the same way God requires us to be real with Him, be real with
others as well while, at the same time, appreciating and celebrating the
various personalities of those God currently has placed in your life.

Be rest assured that God can use your personality to reach
His people and advance His kingdom.

He can use it to befriend a stranger and heal a sin sick soul.

So embrace your personality and allow God to mold and use it the
best way He sees fit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things
there is no law.  Galatians 5:22-23
