  1. Leave it to Mr. Freeman to be so matter-of-fact. I agree with him but there is still way too much racial crap in the U.S. (as well as around the world). I think it is important for writers and those of influence to be strong and honor Black History Month with its due respect.

    That being said, I want my ethnic representation to be changed from Caucasian to European-American. My family came to this country in the mid-1940’s. Why not? I deserve to be honored for my heritage too. Right?
